*Solo Creek: An expansive area along the White River with catch views of 11,000 ft. Mt. Sulzer, the Russell Glacier, Mt. Churchill and 16,400 ft. Mt. Bona, Solo Creek offers many options for base-camping and exploring the White River Valley and surrounding lakes (with some fishing available). Solo Creek also offers opportunities for longer backpacking trips. Head 25 miles by trail toward the old mining settlement of Chisana, with cabins to stay in along the way. Keep an eye out for caribou and other large game. Horsefeld is also an option from Solo Cr. Or, you may opt to try the triangle between Solo Creek, Horsefeld and Chisana via the Beaver Creek Trail.
